Imagine your child’s self-portrait spelling the word, “HOPE” on the side of a 150 year old Victorian building in Germantown!

Youth from all across the city of Philadelphia are invited to join our elite group of professional artists for a ‘Selife’ Self-Portrait Workshop!

The portraits will then be installed on the east facing side of the building spelling the word “HOPE”!

About The Philly Youth Selfie Project:
YOUTH ARE THE FACES OF THE FUTURE! Their self-portraits will tell their story for years to come! When we planned the community-based events for the Germantown ArtHaus, it was imperative that the youth be highlighted brightly, put on display and celebrated. They are our hope and our future.
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY:
Youth from across the city have the unique opportunity to create ‘selfie” self-portraits with some of Philadelphia’s top local artists in the “Selfie Project!” Each participant’s self-portrait will be installed on the East facing wall of the Germantown ArtHaus and inspire the community to “HOPE.” We would love for your child(ren) to participate in this project. We can’t spell “HOPE” without YOU! Open to all ages 7+ (including teens!)
STARTING MAY 2022 The Philly Youth Selfie Project Workshops will be hosted at the SUNDAY FUN DAYS at the Awbury Arboretum! Register today and have a fun-filled afternoon!
